Welcome to the Sahih Bukhari Web Application

Anyone can see the similarity between ‘ELOH’ (God in Hebrew) and ‘Allah’ (God in Arabic); it was the truth taught by all the inspired Books i.e. the Torah given to Moses, the Psalms to David, the Gospel to Jesus and the Quran to Muhammad (May peace be upon them all); How near is AHUD to IKHUD meaning One! With Muhammad (pbuh) also being Prophesised as the unlearned Prophet in Deuteronomy (18:18) and Isaiah (29:12). Prophet Abraham prayed to his Lord to send to his descendants a Messenger who would recite His signs to them, teach them the scripture, and purify them.

God Says:

“Translation: Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise” (Quran 2:129).

God answered the prayer of Abraham (pbuh) by sending Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):

“ Translation: It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error” (Quran 62:2).

God Says:

“Translation: O Mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise” (Quran 4:170).

God Says:

“Translation: O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs” (Quran 4:171).

God Says about being over what is needed (don't commit excess) or extreme views about your Religion):

“…are many lords differing among themselves better, or the One Allah, Supreme and Irresistible?” (Quran 12:39).

Jesus (pbuh) was the Son of Mary therefore a Man; will you worship him as he had no Father then what about the Creation of Adam (pbuh) – he was created from no Father and no Mother.

REGARDING Christ, Islam is the only non Christian faith that makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh);
no Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh). This man Muhammad (pbuh) who has been responsible by God's permission for the bringing into being a World-Wide Community of over a Billion of Believers who on his Teachings alone, believe:
• in the miraculous birth of Jesus (pbuh),
• that Jesus (pbuh) is the ‘Messiah’ (Translated Christ),
• that he gave life to the dead by God's permission, and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by God's permission.

Note: Look how near we are going together with the Christian Teachings! The only parting of the way is
we say Jesus (pbuh) is not God or God incarnate (God in human form) or the Begotten Son of God
(refuted by the complete verses in the Quran 112:1-4).

Jesus (pbuh) is not uniquely titled the ‘Son of God’. The Bible has got numerous Sons where the Righteous Servants of God are metaphorically spoken of as the ‘Sons of God’. Open up any Bible available today to see these numerous ‘Sons of God’ including Melchizedek who is greater than One who is Begotten.

In the Bible we read:

“...Adam (pbuh), which was the SON OF GOD.” (Luke 3:38)
How can David (pbuh) also be begotten?: “...the Lord hath said unto me, (David) Thou art MY SON; this day have I BEGOTTEN thee.” (Psalms 2:7)
Can God have two Firstborns: e.g. ‘Ephraim’ “...for I (God) am a FATHER to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn” (Jeremiah 31:9)
And Firstborn Israel: “...Israel is MY SON, even my firstborn” (Exodus 4:22)
According to the Bible, Melchizedek: high Priest of Salem outshines Jesus (pbuh): “Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually (forever)”. (Hebrews 7:3)
“That the SONS OF GOD saw the daughters of men that they were fair...” (Genesis 6:2)
“…when the SONS OF GOD came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them...” (Genesis 6:4)
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the SONS OF GOD.” (Romans 8:14)
And in the Bible we read, the term ‘God’ used for Moses (pbuh): “And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a God to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy Prophet.” (Exodus 7:1)

According to the Biblical terminology above the Prophet Moses (pbuh) is also called a ‘god’; of these verses who then WORSHIPPED Jesus (pbuh) or Moses (pbuh)? This is very much metaphorical, meaning righteous Prophets. Anyone claiming that Jesus (pbuh) is also a God! Not only is it against his Teachings but it also shows the manifest error of the claim. The Muslims not only accept Jesus (pbuh) as ‘the Messiah’ but also revere him as one of the mighty messengers of God.

In reality Islam is the culmination of the Teachings of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (May peace be upon them all) perfected for all of Mankind. The Quran had come to Confirm, Correct and Complete Divine Revelation, or whatever was left of it in unworthy hands (of the Priests and Rabbis charged with failure to look after it – as the Holy Scripture was not CAREFULLY PRESERVED).

In her Bible Commentary Mrs. Ellen G. White, of the Seventh Day Adventist Church makes a confession about how copyists of the Bible had made errors in their transcribing:

“The Bible we read today is the work of many copyists who have in most instances done their work with marvellous accuracy. But copyists have not been infallible, and God most evidently has not seen fit to preserve them altogether from error in transcribing.” In the Following Pages of Her Commentary, She Testifies Further: “I saw that God had especially guarded the Bible, yet when copies of it were few, learned men had in some instances changed the words, thinking that they were making it plain, when in reality they were mystifying that which was plain, by causing it to lean to their established views, which were governed by tradition.” (Bible Commentary Vol. 1, page 14)

Jābir (RA) said, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to his Companions, and recited Sūrah ar-Raḥmān from its beginning to its end for them, and they were silent. Then he said, “I recited it to the jinn on the ‘night of the Jinn’ and they had a better response to it than you did. Each time I came to Allah’s saying: ‘Which of your Lord’s favors do you deny.’ They said, “We do not deny any of Your favors our Lord! And to You is praise.” Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3291!”
